Feels Good To... - Daily Confidence 17

There are days where I just feel blah. I have hundred things to do, another hundred things I should be doing and another list of things I want to be doing.
But my energy and mood is low and it can hold me back from doing the things I want to do.
When I feel this way, I play music. Not sad or nostalgic music. Music that makes me want to dance. That uses words that lift me up and remind me that I have an amazing life.
When I can, I’ll get outside and go for a walk. Listen to my music and just enjoy the moment.
I always feel better and that helps to move forward with my day.
Here’s a song that absolutely lifts me up.
Love this song!
There’s a little bit of science around this.
Our thoughts drive our emotions which drive our actions.
If I think I feel tired, I’ll feel tired and low energy, and I will likely move slower and not do as much in the day. Or do it half ass.
If I think I feel great, I might have a little more energy which will have me planning my day.
When you play music that gets you thinking fun thoughts and gets your body moving to the beat, your emotions rise from low to high. You may find yourself smiling and walking with a skip in your step. Positive actions flow and you may even feel creative and get some great ideas.
Stay aware of your low thoughts and emotions. Put some music on and pick yourself up!
