  1. I love your concept of color analysis and your beautiful Color Wheels! Over 30 years ago, I had a Color Analysis done by Carole Jackson (she lived in Virginia at that time, not far from my home) and discovered I was a “Spring” (warm undertones – bright colors). Now that I am older, I am finding that cooler, softer colors are more flattering to me than the very warm, bright colors I’ve always favored. So, I’m somewhat confused as to which color wheel would be right for me now. I have very fair skin, blonde hair (which now has a good bit of grey) and dark brown eyes.

    1. Hi Leslie!

I’m writing a book on this very topic! We are always changing and the colors that flatter us will change as well. Based on your description, it sounds like you are best in the soft color wheel. It’s possible you still have some warmth in your skin and eyes. Maybe soft and warm? Can you wear peaches and soft orange reds? If yes, the soft, warm and medium/light for you.

      I hope that helps!

If you’re still not sure, try the color analysis cards. They can really help!

  2. Hi, Where is the answer to this question?

Hi Jen, do you think that someone with brown eyes can be a bright winter? Are brown/dark eyes ever considered as “bright”?

    1. Hi!

Yes. If a person has dark brown eyes, they can be bright. If they wear the bright, clear chroma colors from the bright color wheel, then they are bright. They are likely bright and deep.
