Do I need prior experience to learn color analysis?
No. Both Professional Training and Guided Color Analysis Training teach the Your Color Style methodology from the ground up.
What is the difference between Professional Training and Guided Training?
Professional Training + Tool is the self-paced option at $127 per month. You learn the professional YCS methodology and have access to the Color Analysis Tool, but you work through the material independently.
Guided Color Analysis Training adds structured hands-on practice and personal feedback. You'll choose three people, complete six mini assignments for each person, create three complete professional reports, and finish with a private 45-minute review with Jen.
What is the difference between Guided Training and Certification?
Guided Training teaches the methodology and gives you significant hands-on practice and personalized feedback, but it does not make you a Certified Your Color Style Color Analyst.
Certification is the full professional credential pathway and includes the additional requirements, evaluation, mentoring, and ongoing professional relationship associated with becoming YCS certified.
What happens after the first year of Certification?
Your first year of Certification is $1,997. After the first year, continued access to your professional training, mentoring, and tools continues through the YCS professional membership at $127 per month.
Can I use what I learn with another color analysis system?
Yes. Although the training teaches the Your Color Style methodology, the skills you develop in evaluating Depth, Undertone, Chroma, visual harmony, and more nuanced coloring can strengthen the professional system you already use.
What if I already know how to perform color analysis?
If you already have professional color analysis training and do not need additional education, you can subscribe to the standalone Color Analysis Tool for $97 per month.
