It's self-paced. You'll work through guided assignments independently, with no scheduled live classes. You must complete the certification requirements within 12 months of enrollment.

Yes. The program is designed around smaller guided assignments. You submit your work for personal evaluation, receive feedback, and make corrections as needed before continuing. This helps you catch misunderstandings early rather than repeating them across a complete report.

You complete and receive approval on the guided mini assignments, then submit three complete color analysis reports using three different photos. Your trainer personally evaluates the reports. Certification is awarded only after all required work is successfully approved.

For now, guided assignments and completed final reports are submitted as PDFs by email using the instructions provided in your certification training.

Your eligibility to access and submit certification assignments ends at the 12-month deadline. Continuing your Professional Membership does not extend the certification period.

Your included Professional Membership transitions to $49/month recurring billing, subject to the terms you accept at checkout. Your professional tools remain available while your membership is active, but the certification assignment period ends.

No. Professional Membership includes learning resources and professional tools. Certification is a separate $597 enrollment that includes guided assignments, three report reviews, and the first 12 months of membership.

No. Your $597 Certification enrollment includes the first 12 months of Professional Membership. After that, the membership automatically renews at $49/month until canceled under the subscription terms accepted at checkout. The certification requirements must be completed and approved within your first 12 months.

Professional Membership includes the professional learning library, advanced training, Structured Analysis, Lip & Draping Studio, client management, professional palette tools, and the Color Analysis Report Builder. There are no additional fees for these included tools or training. The optional additional purchase is digital palette credits when you choose to issue a personalized YCS digital palette URL to a client.

No. You can manage unlimited clients and perform unlimited color analyses with an active Professional Membership.

One digital palette credit costs $12.97 and creates one personalized digital palette URL for a client. Discounted multi-credit packages are also available. See current credit packages and pricing.

No. Each credit creates one unique, named client palette URL. The client can revisit that URL as often as they like and save it to their phone's home screen for an app-like experience. The URL does not expire. You can also change the YCS palette assigned to that existing client's URL without using another credit.

No. Purchased digital palette credits do not expire.

Yes. The Color Analysis Report Builder is included with Professional Membership. You can create and download branded reports and deliver them independently. No digital palette credits are required for report creation or delivery.

Yes. You can upload or create your own color palettes and include your own color recommendations and supporting materials in client reports. You are not required to use YCS palettes for these reports.

A credit is required only when you issue a new personalized YCS digital palette URL to a client. Analyzing clients, managing records, creating or downloading reports, and including your own palettes or recommendations in reports do not use credits. Personalized digital palette URLs currently support YCS palettes; delivering your own uploaded palette through that URL is not yet an available feature.

Canceling membership does not automatically delete your client profiles, uploaded photos, analysis results, or reports. These remain associated with your account, and you should be able to access them again if you reactivate under the same account. Access to membership tools is unavailable while your membership is inactive. Because a formal inactive-account retention policy has not yet been published, indefinite storage is not guaranteed.

Completed reports can be downloaded. Self-service bulk export of complete client records and analysis histories is not currently available. You can contact YCS support to request an export of your data.

YCS has not yet published a fixed retention period for inactive professional accounts. Client records are not currently scheduled for automatic deletion solely because a membership ends, but long-term retention is not guaranteed. We recommend keeping downloaded copies of important reports and contacting support with data access or deletion requests.

Information is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Client records and photos are stored with established cloud service providers, and system credentials are kept server-side. The platform is designed to limit client-record access to the professional account that created them. Professionals should obtain appropriate client permission before uploading photographs or personal information.
