  • The right depth of colors for a person

  • Clear versus soft coloring
  • The details that make an analysis more personal
  • Which characteristic is most dominant
  • How to bring all the clues together into a final analysis
Go Beyond The Color Quiz

Color analysis is more than deciding if someone is warm or cool.

Personal coloring has multiple dimensions. Two people can both have cool undertones and still need very different colors.

One may look best in lighter, softer colors while another comes alive in rich, clear shades.

That's why Your Color Style teaches you to look at several characteristics separately before bringing them together.

Once you understand what you're looking for, color analysis becomes much less mysterious.

A Better Way To Learn

Train your eye instead of memorizing types.

You won't simply be handed categories and asked to memorize what belongs where.

You'll learn the visual clues behind an analysis so you can understand how and why a conclusion is reached.

That foundation makes it much easier to evaluate real people, especially when their coloring doesn't fit neatly into a traditional seasonal box.

The Foundation

Start with three key characteristics

Instead of jumping immediately to a color type, you'll learn to evaluate personal coloring one characteristic at a time.

1

Depth

Is the person's overall coloring best supported by lighter, medium or deeper colors? Learn how hair, skin and eyes contribute to the depth a person can comfortably wear.

2

Undertone

Learn to evaluate warm, olive and cool characteristics without relying on overly simplified rules about veins, jewelry or a single feature.

3

Chroma

Does a person look best in clearer, more saturated colors or softer colors? Learn how to recognize the difference and why it matters.
