The 12 Color Types of Your Color Style®

The 12 Color Types of Your Color Style®

There are 12 color types within the Your Color Style® system.

While that number may sound similar to the 12-season color system, our approach is completely different — it’s based on color theory, not seasonal categories.

Each color type is created by combining three key characteristics:
Depth, Undertone, and Chroma.

Together, they define your unique color harmony and determine which colors make you look vibrant, confident, and authentically you.

If you’re new to Your Color Style® or want to understand how these characteristics work, start here:

Once you understand those three steps, you’ll see how they come together to form your personal color type.

Below, you’ll find descriptions of all 12 color types — each linked to a detailed page that shows you what your palette looks like and how to wear it beautifully.
