Meet the Expert Behind the Book

What Readers are Saying

I would give this book 10 stars if I could! When my auburn hair turned silver, I loved the bright sheen of my hair but many of the dark warm colors I had worn throughout my life looked really off. Great with Gray helped me understand how to create harmony between my hair, skin, eyes and clothing. Based on color theory, I now know WHY some colors are flattering and others are not. I also learned how to use color to balance the yellow cast of my light olive skin. This book has helped me go from confused to confident when choosing the most flattering colors to wear with my gray hair.

With SO much appreciation,

Sue C.

Great at breaking down color theory and loved how she explained warm undertones with grey hair!

I struggled for so long trying to figure out what colors I should be wearing with my silver hair. Now I definitely know the answer. This book has cleared up all of my confusion. I highly recommend it for anyone who has silver hair or is transitioning to silver. The book is easy to read and very clear.

YCS (Your Color Style) is not seasonal color analysis, but isn't incompatible. Instead, it goes deeper and broadens choice. It is more flexible once you know your "home" base type. I look across systems, and keep coming back. This book nicely summarizes the system and more importantly, all the tips I spent time collecting from various videos. It also finally answered what might happen once the grey bits take over. It helps if one is in the neutral, bit of olive minority. Use it, plus the website has cost-effective digital palettes to check your work if not ready for a fan.

I really liked this book. It cleared up some misconceptions about grey hair and warm colors and pink hues to my skine that I had.

Once I let my hair go gray, I felt like none of my clothes looked good on me any more. All the colors seemed off. Now I know that I have warm skin and cool hair. I understand how that affects my color choices and I have a specific palette to work with. This has been a great help to me!
