Color Analysis Case Study: Bright or Soft?

Jen does a color analysis on a photo that was submitted to her. The request says:

"Hi Jen!

I’d like to start out by saying how much I not only appreciate your work, but also your sparkly delivery. Your videos are always insightful and also cheerful! They make me smile. My question is a tie breaker question of sorts. I am 90% convinced that I am warm, 98% convinced that I’m medium toned but am very confused as to whether I am bright or soft. To me, my pictures look like both at different times. Sometimes more muted colors make me feel washed out, while other times, the bright colors feel like they drain me. I’m never sure which side I fall on. My hair is dyed a golden brown, but you might see my sparkling tinsel grey roots in some of the pics. At 44 years young, I think I’m over halfway gray... My natural hair color in my youth was a medium neutral brown. I know you’re very busy, but if there’s any possible way you could help me figure it out, I would be just as pleased as punch!
