PRINT MIXING is a sophisticated styling technique that works well with these mid-tone colors. This kind of look is scary for some, but I encourage you to experiment and find options that work for you. Try pairing a busier print with a simpler one. One easy way is to start with a print in some of your best colors, then choose a simple stripe in one color from the print. The eye reads the stripe almost like a neutral.

These mid-tones also work well with each other in a BALANCED SOLIDS look. Choose two shades in similar depths and the same temperature and then use accessories to tie them together.

GRAPHIC T-SHIRT is a great way to bring together two colors for a harmonious look. Here we are using two warm shades pulled from colors in the t-shirt. Complete the look with accessories in the same two colors.

Another fun pairing is OPPOSING SHADES, or shades across the color wheel from one another. Keep them in similar depths and the same temperature, then once again, connect them with accessories that bring the shades together.

I hope that these tips are helpful in wearing the colors in this month’s chart.
