PICKS

For this month’s Picks, I’ve selected the ELEVATED ATHLETIC SANDAL. These have come a long way baby, they’ve added in details of color and designed some of them on groovy platforms. These are a great choice for a casual skirt, shorts, denim, or crops.

Next up is the BREEZY BEACH SHIRT. Oversized and roomy, this isn’t about being body con, it’s about comfort and staying cool. So easy to slip on and off, you will find this being one of your favorite cover-ups for swimsuits and may even find yourself wearing it with shorts around town. For the latter, try tying it at the waist or wearing it over a tank. Linen and cotton versions are the way to go and pick your best neutral or a fun solid in your palette for an easy on-trend Summer look.

Finally, the BRACELET STACK is still around, but it’s clunkier and bolder. Rob your jewelry case and throw them on, it’s really that easy. Choose a few in neutrals or colors from your outfit, and stack them up.

PASS

Now for those Passes! The WHITE UNDERGARMENTS must go ladies. Nude is best, period, even under white garments. And make sure to choose your nude, based on your skin tone. In Summer, I wear a deeper nude than in the Winter.

The new MAXI DENIM SKIRTS are a trend to skip. Does this really look good on anyone? It just seems misfitting and sloppy for me. The midi is a newer length that is on trend and much more wearable, give that length a try.

Lastly, these MARSHMALLOW or PILLOW SHOES are not flattering on the foot. Now if you need them for post-workout recovery, go for it, but on for that time! As I tell my clients “we can do better”. There are so many beautiful sandals that flatter the foot and provide comfort, we don’t need foam pads tied to our feet, it just draws the eye right downwards, and not in a good way.

Until next month, Happy Styling!
