    • Growing up my hair was a dark blonde with slight reddishnatural highlights. My eyebrows are darker and I use ash brown or even gray to fill them in. Because of my skin tone which seems to be warmish light olive all year round. I’m never white in skin color but always seem to have warm toned color to my skin. My hair is now more close to my eyebows but a bit lighter in shade. I highlight my hair with a warm blond color. My eyes are green/ blue/green/with tiny yellowish flecks around pupil in sunburst color designed iris.. Eyes are not pale or dark but medium intensity I think. If I wear greens, yellows or purple on my eyes or in my tops they look greener. If I wear more blue green tops they look more blue green. I don’t think I’m light but could I be warm medium. I look great in creams, soft or medium intensity warm corals, medium intensity mint green, teal,, soft warmish yellows and even when I’m tanned look great in a warm medium intensity yellow gold. I normally do not look very good in pale colors but look better if the color is not so pale/light in color. Should I select light or medium?
      Your Color Style replied:
You could go light or medium. You sound Bright and Warm. If you can wear the bolder colors light tomato reds and marigold, then choose Bright Warm Medium

    • Sorry, I didn’t make myself clear. I am wondering more about the cool vs. warm question than the medium vs. deep question.
      Your Color Style replied:
      Hi Karen

I’m not 100% sure based on your description. Since your eyes are dominantly grey-blue, I’m inclined to say soft cool deep

      - Karen A
    • Hair – Medium to dark Brown with just a little gray coming in (and have some auburn strands when in the sun)
Skin – fair to beige (may have some olive)
eyes – I usually say hazel on forms, etc., but close up they are grey-blue with a lil ring of yellow/brown around pupil (in general, they are more of a darker hazel than a light hazel)

I had previously thought I was soft, cool, deep, but now I am leaning toward soft, ??, medium.
      Your Color Style replied:
      Hi Karen

Good news! There is very little difference between soft cool medium and deep. It’s simply the range of color. If you’re not sure, choose medium. You can always choose darker colors if you’d like.

      - Karen
    • Hi Jen,

I have deep blue eyes, brown hair that sits in between medium and dark, and pale, cool-toned skin. Would I be medium or deep?

      Dan :)
      Your Color Style replied:
      Hi Dan

      I would choose deep.

      - Dan
    • Help!
Medium to Dark brown hair, dark brows
      Medium Hazel eyes with green
      Medium Olive Skin

      Are all olive skins cool?
Would I be Bright Cool Medium because of the softer eye?
Or would the softer eye make everything go to a Soft Cool Medium?

…or maybe not a cool at all?

      Thank you!
      Your Color Style replied:
      Hi Donna

If you have pretty dark hair and medium skin, I would choose deep. Olive skin is not ALWAYS cool but I have noticed that dark earthy tones on olive skin just doesn’t work. The cooler tones seem to balance the green better. Your hazel eyes don’t necessarily mean bright or soft. I’ve seen bright hazel eyes and soft hazel eyes. Assuming you are cool and deep… do you wear bright jewel tones well? Do you wear white and black high contrast patterns? If your skin is medium with medium-dark hair, I’m thinking the bright high contrast color palette may be too strong. I would look at the soft cool deep color palette and add in some brighter colors as you’d like
