You selected MEDIUM. This means you have medium eyes, hair AND/OR skin.

  • hello,

I have dark brown hair, and under the sun, it has a slight copper reflection.

My eyes are very dark brown.

My skin color is between peach and amber brown.

When I put cold colors near my face, I have a healthy glow (rosy cheeks), and at the same time warm colors adheres better to my skin.

    Hi Chaimaa

You sound like you have warm undertones. I have a hard time believing magenta pink harmonizes with your skin. Blues and turquoise are universal colors and look good on both warm and cool undertones. I’m guessing you are warm and deep

  • Hello!
I am just curious if/how these things change for those of us that live in places where the weather changes? I live in the Midwest and my skin changes a lot from summer to winter. Right now it is winter so I am much more pale than normal. I found myself in the Medium category and at the moment I feel that I have warm undertones because my skin looked a lot like those colors that were warm undertone. But, I also get very pink at times when I am warm. So things like exercising or just feeling hot in a space makes me very pink and I think my skin tone has a much more cool undertone. Along with this, in the summer my skin color changes drastically when I’ve been in the sun. When I am tan I am much more cool toned, but in the winter, those kinds of colors don’t look that great on me anymore and I get confused. Is this normal?

    Hi Maddy

I would analyze your undertones with your general skin, not the pink when you get hot. Your undertones don’t change. If your skin seems to have more warm tones you are at your palest, then you likely have warm undertones. I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone say that they are cool when they get tan. The opposite would be true. Your skin naturally gets warmer from the sun tan. Keep in mind that cool undertones means that you have blue undertone. Pink isn’t necessarily cool. And you don’t gain cool tones when you tan.

I hope this helps a little

  • Hi Jen,
I have pinkish, pale skin. I blush easily. My hair was a reddish brown but now I’m going gray so I dye it, but it’s still an auburn with silvery gray highlights. Eyes are grayish blue. Veins are blue. Eyebrows dark but going gray. I think I’m a cool/winter but definitely feeling confused by these tests.

    Hi Rachel

I’m not exactly sure what a cool winter is. Your Color Style’s color types don’t align directly to seasons. You had red-brown hair which sounds warm to me. I would say bright and warm, not cool. Do you look good in bright jewel tones? if so, then perhaps you are cool. I bet you look amazing in tomato red. If so, then choose warm

  • Hi Jen, I used to have blond hair as a kid, then had dark blonde hair that changed to brown hair with grey. Eyes are blue green, skin somewhat beige with some slight red hue in the middle part of my face. I rarely burn and tan easily. I’m still confused about what color palette I am. Colors looking good on me: teal, bluegreen, wine red, periwinkle blue, blacksmith white, light jeans blue, red, sage green, purple. Colors that looked completely wrong on me were light grey and dusty pink. I can’t stand orange and mustard (therefore never wear it). Teal and bluegreen make my eyes sparkle. Any suggestions what kind of palette I might be?

  • Hi,
I have auburn hair, blue eyes and a pale skin with light freckles. I barely tan in the summer. I would definitely say I have cool undertones, but because of my hair color, I’m not sure. I feel that dark colors (blue, green, purple) fit me, but also certain neutral color shades, like beige or pink.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Laura

The colors you’ve described that you wear are universal colors. They are also colors that look great on individuals with auburn hair. Wearing colors opposite red/orange on the color wheel will look fantastic on you. That doesn’t mean you have cool undertones. I might just mean that you prefer the cooler colors to balance your warm hair. I bet you look amazing in a tomato red, persimmon or pumpkin and in olive greens. If so, the choose warm. Bright, Warm and Medium.
